Private lessons·Hong Kong & online
One-to-one Oxygen Advantage® breathing coaching with Paul Blaikie, OA Advanced Instructor (Level 2) — in Central, Hong Kong, or online.
The consult is a video call. No commitment, no hard sell — you leave with one thing to try either way.
Who this is for
You breathe through your mouth at night, snore or grind, and no amount of sleep hygiene has touched it.
Your lungs give up before your legs do. You train hard and still feel you're breathing wrong.
Meetings, messages, coffee. You run on alert all day and can't find the off switch in the evening.
You know the theory. You want someone to check your technique, measure where you are and build the plan.
What a lesson is
Most of us breathe faster, higher and harder than we need to, and never notice. A lesson starts by measuring that, then teaches the handful of Oxygen Advantage® exercises that fit your goal, so you leave with something to practise rather than something to remember.
The lessons teach the Oxygen Advantage® method. The Olevity app course is a separate programme I wrote independently; it's included with a four-lesson course as a gift, and it's never a substitute for the lesson itself.
Included with a four-lesson course: the current Breathe & Restore course in the Olevity app, for daily practice between sessions. iOS and Android.
How it works
Twenty minutes on a video call. We talk about what you want to change, I ask a few screening questions, and you decide whether lessons make sense.
A single lesson to fix one thing, or a four-lesson course for lasting change. In person in Central, or online from wherever you are.
Pick times that suit you from the booking calendar. Each session ends with a plan for the week and a way to measure it.
Lessons & prices
All prices in Hong Kong dollars. A single lesson is paid when you book it; a course is paid once and booked session by session.

Why learn from Paul
The advanced tier of the Oxygen Advantage® instructor training, covering functional breathing, breath-hold training and breathing for sport and sleep. Listed in the OA instructor directory →
So the breathing work fits the rest of your training rather than sitting beside it.
Wrote and built Breathe & Restore, an eight-week breathing and sleep course on the Olevity app for iOS and Android. The same person who wrote the course wrote the code.
CTO in financial technology and platforms for healthcare before this. The habit of measuring before changing anything carries over.
“I started working with Paul because I wanted to sleep better. He gave me short breathing exercises I could do during work breaks and before bed, and suggested a nasal dilator to use at night. Three weeks in, I was sleeping better and feeling better overall, and the practice fitted easily into my day.”Jason · online lessons, New Zealand
“I came to Paul to manage stress and help my running. He kept the practice gentle and adapted the sessions when something didn’t feel right. When I got caught up in getting the timing perfect, he encouraged me to ease off. I found the exercises relaxing and now fit them into quiet moments during the day. I’m keen to keep going.”Alec · in-person lessons, Hong Kong
“My sessions with Paul were entirely online. He took a gentle approach and adapted the exercises to what I found manageable. When timing my breathing felt stressful, he adjusted the rhythm. He checked in between sessions, and I appreciated having that individual support while I was learning.”Yvonne · online lessons, UK
About Paul
Oxygen Advantage® Advanced Instructor · Founder, Olevity · Hong Kong
Paul spent twenty years building large software systems, as CTO in financial technology and on platforms for healthcare, before training as a breathing instructor and personal trainer. He founded Olevity in Hong Kong to teach breathing as a skill: something you measure, practise and keep, rather than a technique you try once.
Lessons are taught the way he wanted to be taught: assess first, change one thing at a time, and check it worked. He teaches in English, in Central and online.

Safety & suitability
Breath-hold work is not for everyone, and it doesn't need to be. The free consult includes a short screen, and every first lesson starts with an assessment, so the exercises are chosen for where you are now. Some conditions — pregnancy, a heart condition, blood pressure that isn't yet under control, epilepsy or panic attacks among them — mean a gentler programme, or a word with your doctor first. That's a normal part of good coaching, not a reason to stay away.
Lessons are coaching in a skill. They are not medical treatment, they don't diagnose anything, and they don't replace care you already receive. If you're under treatment for anything that affects your breathing, heart or sleep, keep your clinician in the loop and tell me on the consult.
Questions
Move or cancel free of charge with 24 hours' notice, using the link in your booking email. Inside 24 hours the session counts as used. Course sessions are valid for ten weeks from purchase, and unused course sessions are refundable pro rata within 14 days of purchase, less any session already taken at the single-lesson price. The full policy is in the lessons terms.
Comfortable clothes you can sit, lie and walk in. Nothing else. For online lessons, a quiet spot where you can sit upright and lie down, and a phone or laptop with a camera.
No. It's coaching in a skill, the way a swimming or running coach works. It doesn't diagnose or treat any condition and doesn't replace care you already receive. If you have a medical condition, tell me on the consult so the programme suits you.
With a four-lesson course, yes: you get the current Breathe & Restore course in the Olevity app as a gift, for daily practice between sessions. It's a separate programme from the Oxygen Advantage® lessons, written independently. Single lessons don't include it, though you can buy it from the App Store or Google Play at any time.
Yes, online. Lessons run on a video call (the link arrives with your booking) and the booking page shows available times in your own time zone. Paul teaches on Hong Kong time (UTC+8), which suits mornings in Australia and evenings in Europe well.
Single lessons are paid by card when you book; Apple Pay and Google Pay work too. A four-lesson course is paid once through a secure Stripe page, here or after the consult, and you then book the sessions one by one. Prices are in Hong Kong dollars; if the checkout offers your own currency as well, either is fine. If you'd rather pay by FPS, PayMe or bank transfer, just say so — same price.

A short email or WhatsApp message with what you're hoping to change is enough. Replies within one working day, from Paul, not a bot.
